Dr. Archana Pawar is the first qualified lady Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon in Kolhapur and Western Maharashtra.
She has been a topper and ranker throughout her school and college days.
She has passed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Miraj. Always with the zeal and passion to do something unique she joined surgery and completed her M.S ( General Surgery) from Government Medical College, Miraj.
She then joined the most prestigious, renowned and one of top colleges in India, Seth G.S Medical college, KEM Hospital, Mumbai from where she completed her M.Ch in Plastic Surgery.
With her equally qualified husband Dr. Veerendrasinh Pawar who is a Neurosurgeon, she started City Hospital a Multisuperspeciality and Trauma centre in the heart of Kolhapur City in year 2002.
Since then City Hospital which was started as a 25 bedded hospital has grown to a 100 bedded NABH accredited hospital. Till today Dr. Archana Pawar has treated and operated on more than 1000 trauma patients. She has done maxillofacial surgeries, all types of reconstruction in trauma and burns patients.
Her dream was to start a unique cosmetic Centre in Kolhapur to cater to all the beauty needs of people of Kolhapur.
